LEN BELLINGER STYLEE

Our Uncle Len, the only living man over 21 we know who actually devotes his life to what he loves, has been written up in the NY Times (bottom of page 2).

Hmmm...sounds like a fool !
You mean he hides in his studio, avoids family gatherings, doesn't care about making money,
pushes paint and weird materials around, and spends all his time, energy and $$$ on juvenille pre-apocalyptic capitalistic sociological ephemera...not to mention his rabbid obsession with the Lord of the Rings books, films and trading cards?
The nerve...........

Excuse me, but I like totally disagree with the firt comment. Bellinger sounds like the type of artist every art teacher should be like. A man so dedicated to his passion should be recognized and given the upmost respect that he deserves even if he is an asshole sometimes because it "takes an asshole to know an asshole."

"Thank you baby Jesus."

A fool? Ignorance is not necessary. Mr.Bellinger is an absolute treasure of a human being. He has what people strive to find their entire lives - love for something so great that it matters not what he gets in return. Please save your ignorance for elsewhere unless you know him personally. He is an incredible person, artist and friend.

Mr B is soo awesome! The first comment is complete bull. He's not a typical art teacher. His class is more than "draw this and you get an A" It's all about honesty. He's also such an inspiration, if you know anything about him, you'd know why. He's also completely honest with his students, which encourages us to be honest with him, too.
