About Me
Started in 2004 to chronicle a Vancouver to New York drive, this is a sporadic blog about being from New York, living in Boston, working coast to coast, learning through constant travel, starting a rock band, technology, writing, photography, music, urban planning, transportation, and other things that interest me.

Nice shot, Rob.
This reminds me of when my brothers, my mom and I lived about two blocks from the Port of Oakland. My older brother and I would shoot hoops at a court that was right next to the estuary and we'd pause to watch enormous cargo ships load, dock and leave.
There are, unfortunately, no cargo ship sightings in these land-locked parts.
On second thought, the actual sequence was more likely: dock, unload, and leave, considering there's not much manufacturing and a whole lot of consuming going on in the bay area.
