i think that it's hilarious that we listen to "alt" country, or maybe call it twang-twinged rock, or move from iowa to williambsurg to play in a rockabilly band, or dance to texas swing in somerville.

we are all playing and listening to american country music. period. everbody's doing it, even the smart people who hate themselves and the silly people who hate america.
