Might we say, Lenny Bruce in Underworld?
never saw it. that's the movie with kate beckinsale, right? she was so hot in "the last days of disco"...
Yeah, it's the Delillo tome. Came out in like 97. Cover features the WTC. It's all about Cold War paranoia, & has Lenny Bruce riffing, 'we're all gonna die!' during the cuban missle crisis. Most inspirational.
bought it in hardcover at the strand for $5. it's in a milkcrate in here somewhere. i remember it had a lot of pages.
